Check the basket at the skimmer and the one on the pump and make sure they are clear. If you have a pressure gauge on your filter does it read higher or lower than normal? If it is higher that would indicate a dirty filter and needs to be taken apart and cleaned or backwashed. If it reads lower than normal the problem may be a clogged impeller, where debris has gotten past the pump basket.

Error code High Ref Pressure on a jandy AE 3000T-R

Make sure your water filters are clean and if you have an external by-pass, make sure it is not open. High Ref Pressure is normally caused when the refrigerant is not cooled off by the pool water circulating thru the heat exchanger. If your filter pump is not circulating enough water (normally around 40gpm) in the system then you will trip the high pressure sensor. If the HP sensor trips without the compressor engaging the try replacing the sensor.

Pump seems to start ok - 240 volts - shaft spins but not enough water pressure to move the polaris cleaner?

It sounds like you could have some debris stuck in the impeller on this pump. This is a common problem and anything that gets past the pool filter can end up stuck in this pump.

My Polaris 3900 that I bought today is not moving fast enough. There is no blue restrictor cap in the wall.

Check your filter, pump, and debris baskets for excessive waste that could decrease the pool cleaners water flow. Check the hoses, hose connections, and swivels for leaks that could cause loss of water pressure. Check your wheel RPM. If it is below 30, you will need to incease the water pressure. If you have an adjustable return valve, make sure it is open all the way. Also, make sure that your pump is working properly.

What does it mean when F 14 is displayed in the window?

F14 - "level/pressure switch failure." The level switch monitors the dishwasher's water pressure, as it circulates, which is especially critical, during the heating cycle (main wash). Level switch failure can commonly happen from poor circulation, or from the defective level switch, itself. The most common reason for poor circulation is low water fill level. In other words, during the water intake cycle, insufficient water came into the dishwasher. Observe if enough water did come into the dishwasher, Check the water level, by using the filter's handle (located on the floor, of the inside of the dishwasher) as a reference point. At the end of the water fill stage, the water level should be just underneath the filter's handle. If the water level is more than half an inch, below the filter's handle... then that could be a problem. The sympton would be a noisy, sluggish, whooshing sound of water, during circulation - It wouldn't be the same old quiet Miele dishwasher you knew.

If you have the low water fill problem, then look at the dishwasher's water intake hose. Miele call this their Waterproof System hose (WPS). It's a water hose with an integrated electric valve. First, shut your water valve that connects to this WPS; disconnect the WPS from your valve; look inside the end of the WPS. With a needle nose plier, remove the rubber seal, filter and the water restrictor; clean them of any possible debris; put all the parts back into the WPS, securely; reconnect the hose; open your water valve; and test the dishwasher. If the problem persists, then the WPS will need to be replaced (WPS~$170).

Other causes for F14, can be weak circulation from foreign item(s) (plastic wrapping, broken glass, etc,...) lodged inside circulation pump impeller, or no circulation, at all (circulation pump stuck). Of couse, the defective level switch, itself, can cause the F14, too. The least common causes for the F14 can be broken wires to and from, level switch and electronic unit, and a defective electronic unit.

The wheels are not moving when hooked up, When i move one manually they all move. i made sure the pool filter basket is clean and the water pressure going into polaris seems like it is strong.

Also check the skimmer basket and pump. Make sure they are functioning properly. Check all hoses, connections, and swivels for leaks that could be causing a lack of water pressure in these pool cleaners. Make sure that your wheel RPM is between 28 and 32. Increase the pressure to create more RPM.

Wheels are not turning. water is spraying from back up valve continually so not enough pressure to put machine into action

If the pool cleaner is not running properly (too slowly or not at all), you will want to check the following things. Make sure that your wheel RPM is not less than 30. If it is, you will need to adjust the wheel RPM to make the cleaner have enough power to move properly. First check your filter screen and the debris baskets in your pump, filter, and skimmer. They could have a blockage that is causing the loss of power. Next, if you have an adjustable valve on the cleaner line, open it completely so water can flow freely to the cleaner. If that does not work, remove the blue restrictor disk from the UWF. Also, check the hoses, hose connections, and swivels for leaks that could cause loss of water pressure. If you think that it is simply your backup valve that is malfunctioning, you might need to replace it. The backup valve kit is part number G52.

Where the filter screen / hose connection attaches to the wall of the pool there is a lot of water pressure coming out of the black cap.I have replaced with new ( very expensive ) but same problem is...

Make sure that the blue restrictor disk in in place to decrease water flow. That is a common problem with these pool cleaners. If that still isn't enough, you cleaner should have also come with a red restrictor disk that limits water flow even more. You could also try unscrewing the pressure valve to decrease RPMs and pressure.

Make sure the wall screen is clean. It sounds like you are missing the wall fitting screen. If this is the case you have debrie in the unit and it has plugged the water management system. Take the cover off the head and clear all the jets where the hoses connect.

Front wheels don't turn

It's probably a damaged drive gear. Polaris was at one time giving out free repair kits for this problem because of the poor design of the original.
