SOURCE: Phone Book Transfer Nokia N70 - Blackberry 9000

Syncronization! The Nokia phone will not just easily transfer or sync the contacts to your Black Berry because they are running on 2 different softwares.

In order for you to transfer all the contacts to your Black Berry is through synchronization

The Nokia N70 came with a CD called the Nokia PC Suite. And Black Berry should have a sync software.

What are the things you need:
1. Computer
2. Nokia N70
3. Black Berry phone
4. Nokia PC Suite CD
5. Black Berry sync software

How:
1. Install the Nokia PC suite to the computer.
2. Connect the Nokia N70 to the computer.
3. Export all the Contacts from Nokia N70 to your computer (refer to the manual)
4. Once the contacts are saved in your computer, disconnect the Nokia and connect your Black Berry.
5. Run the sync software of Black Berry and import the Contacts that are saved in the computer going to your Black Berry (refer to the manual of Black berry).

This is hiow to transfer the contacts from one phone to another.

I would also suggest to contact Nokia so that you will have a clearer idea on how to do it.

Good luck!

I have only had my blackberry curve 8520 for just over a month. Yesterday my blackberry messenger just stopped working i cant recieve blackberry messages or send them. What should i do to fix this?

There could be a data issue with your mobile network provider. You will need to contact them to get it investigated as it may need to be escalated to RiM themselves.

The BlackBerry smartphone user is unable to send a picture as an email message from the Media application of the BlackBerry smartphone. The Send option is not present on the menu when the email message is sent using an email account that is associated with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Although the current BlackBerry Internet Service supports large attachments or attachments that are in their native format, BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.0 does not.
A BlackBerry smartphone that is provisioned with the current BlackBerry Internet Service uses it as the default method for sending pictures from the camera. As a result, when attempting to send a picture attachment from an email account that is associated with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the Send option will be missing from the menu as the image is in native format and size.

Upgrade the BlackBerry Enterprise Server to software version 4.1 Service Pack 2 or later, since support for large attachments or attachments that are in their native format has been introduced in that version.

Follow the steps below to send the picture attachment from the Messages application on the BlackBerry smartphone:
  1. Select Messages on the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone.
  2. Press the Menu key.
  3. Select the Compose Email option from the menu.
  4. In the To field, enter the contact address where the email message is to be sent.
  5. Press the Menu key again.
  6. Select the Attach File option from the menu.
  7. Browse to and select the picture to be attached to the email message.
  8. Send the email message.
