It keeps saying allign cart. I do it and thats all it does, what do I do?

Replace all ink carts with genuine hp carts

take eject the carts
take all ink out
get a big bit of cotton wool
place an A4 sheet so the head sits on it
then stuff the cotton wool into the ink cart tray
now poar in 150ml of IPA
close the printer
place a damp towel over the printer
leave it for 12 hrs
next day take off the towel out the cotton wool
and put back the ink
now charge allign and clean the print head
it will work...

try making sure that the ink cartridge is seated properly

is ur cart a new installed or refilled??
howevr, dis often comes associated with d aforesaid..ignore n continue..u may also type in Run->msconfig..and remove all hp related startup programs esp hp monitor from startup tab..hope it'll work..else try to install a new n branded hp cart

Replace all ink carts with new ones to get a sucessful alignment

1. cancel the alignment .
2. try one cart at a time and only make a copy of a test document ...(press "select" if u get cart missing error ) ...only of the carts is causing the error
3. possible u have defect cart ..or the internal sensor could have gone bad (rare scenario )
4. get a replacement carts...

1. Open the printer and remove and reinstall the same cartridges again (important)
2. Ensure paper is loaded and the paper slider is correctly positioned against the edge of the paper
3. When asked to allign, do so again

hello..

You may be need to buy a new color cart., becuase the allignment page depend on the Yellow color when it become to scan..

or you can pring any allignment page from a friend and put it in the scanner instead that one you printed out....

Your machine is telling you it cannot read the new cartridge for some reason. Try running an allignment scan form the printers management area.
