Bought my father a compaq armada m700 p3 750 and did not recieve any instruction manual with it, can you help me find one please ? !!!!

To get to the recovery partition on your Compaq Armada M700, turn on the notebook and press F11 repeatedly until "Windows is loading files..." displays on the screen. Then, follow the on-screen instructions.

If your notebook originally came with Windows XP or an earlier version of Windows, try pressing F10 to enter recovery instead of F11.

You could do this yourself if you are technically inclined.

Sounds like you may have a problem with the internal power supply box? I am not sure but that may be at least something for you to have checked out. If the fan is not spinning this is usually a sign this may be what the problem is. GOOD LUCK!

try removing the large battery and powering off wall supply only...if ok, then replace battery
