Which Operating System is running on your computer? If it's Windows XP, you need to delete a file with the name "dwmapi.dll" in the C: drive's System32 folder under Windows folder. If I am right, the problem might have started after installing Mozilla Firefox. The reason is a wrong driver of Windows Vista installed on Windows XP system.

The process is like this:
Open My Computer, then "C:" drive, and again "Windows", locate "System32" folder and again locate "dwmapi.dll" in the System32 folder and delete the "dwmapi.dll". That should definitely do the trick.

Good luck.
