your ysus or z-sus is faulty

If the unit has not previously had the PSU or Y-SUS boards replaced prior to this issue. Then it sounds like the voltages are off on one of those two boards. There is a process for checking those voltages and trying to adjust them. If those boards were recently replaced I would say the tech did not check voltage accuracy. But if it just happened out of no where go with the Y-SUS board as the problem. I say that because the unit powers on.

I'm not sure: on the Y-sus board there are 3 small power supplies. ( 3 small transformers standing together. They supply 15 volts each.) One of them supplies the 15 volts for the z-sus board this one might be defective. Replace the Elco's on this one by ordenary elco's (low -ones) in stead of the smd- elco's .

This might solve the problem. On the other hand you should realy measure this one out...

might be a ground issue. plug it into other outlets and make sure the ground prong is still attached to the plug.

As per your description Your problem may be with Y-sus board.(It could be 50:50 chance of Y-sus or Panel)
How to confirm:Follow these instruction.

On Y-sus board there is 2 preset Variable resistors VR1 and VR2.Try to adjust slowly VR1 first and see any change in your Plasma Panel.If speckle amount reduces change Y-sus.

Otherwse you have a bad panel.

if unit is still under warranty, utilize it. otherwise your y-sus bd is failing. the problem will get worse. hope this helps.
