Need to set ringer on phone to ring in my office

I do not know how to set the phone to ring in my office. right now it just rings on the receptionist phone

Is because the ringging assignment only set to ring at receptionist phone.
u may need contact the phone provider to set the ringging assignment to other for other phone which to ring for incoming call

Hi if you just want to silence the actual unit, most often you will find a small switch on the unit, that switches OFF the ringer, or often one can turn it down, via a control on the unit. Other times one can set it Off or down in volume via the settings, use the manual in these case to ascertain what to do.

Above is a manual so you can check exactly what and how to do what you want.

If this cannot be done, then take the phones case OFF, locate the "Ringer" and disconnect it from the board, problem solved.

I need to set the ringers to only ring at the two receptionist desks and not everyone else's offices. Please help! We have Avaya Partner 18D phones.

Partner ACS systems come with Centralized programming instructions. Most of them starting with Feature 00 Left Intercom twice and Right Intercom. When you dial an extension, the lights will be solid or blink according to how it's programmed and you press each button to turn on or off or delay ringing.

Your system administrator should have a book.

Turn off Ringer For External Calls Only

If you use strata emanager it would depend on how your system was set up. One way is to go to Advanced configuration tab Station tab, multiple call group tab, click on the group number (far right), then member tab and select extention and ringing option. Another way is to go again from the advance configuration tab, then assignment tab select the extention number on the right select key assignment tab, and on the incoming extention line double click it nd select no ring.

Doesn't ring loud enough.

Simple, when the phone is ringing, knock up the volume button. The ringer will get louder.

Is there an 'M' on the display? If so, that means it is in 'meeting mode.' All you have to do is press and hold the star key (*) and that will take care of it.

What Toshiba system do you guys have? On all 3 issues you will need to login to phone system and reprogram buttons on phones to ring or not to ring.

Why is my phone ringing?

Your Handset has been programmed i guess by mistake to be in the same ring group as the main receptionist for C0-01 . Use Google for programming manual to make changes.

Norstar Phones - Turn off ringer on phones

You have to go in to programming and set the phone in the shop to ring on line 3 only and the phones in the office to not ring on line 3.If you don't know how to go in to programming please inform me.
