Passive Dean Bass. Simple set-up, 1 volume, 1 tone knob. Turn guitar and amp volume to "10", I get nothing. Other bass works fine so its not the amp or cable. Any ideas?

Broken cable inside, possibly at the output jack?
Or a failed potentiometer (volume or tone)
Pull the back plate off, and have a look at the wiring, Trace it with an ohmmeter to check for continuity at each step.

My ibanez sr700 bass guitar's volume knob is very

To remove the knob, there should be a small hex key or allen screw on the side of the knob. Just loosen the screw. You don't have to remove it.

To tighten the nut properly, you may have to remove the back panel of the bass and hold the potentiometer from the other side. If allowed to turn too much, it could mess up the wiring.

Hi there. I bought my friend's Ibanez RG3EXFM1 and the volume knob doesn't work. When I plug it into the amp, I don't get a sound unless I mess with the knob a bit. I opened the guitar up

your gonna prob have to replace knob but try and re sodder the connections. if that doesn't fix it then its your knob that needs to be replaced

Does anyone know how to make a bass knob remote out of phone line? What the color code? I have 4 different color wire here but i don't know what to do to make a bass knob remote.

It is NOT clear what you are trying to do... HOWEVER if you are attempting to extend a bass potentiometer remotely, you CANNOT use the four wire flat telephone line as it is unshielded and you will pick up hum.

Line 6 Spider III 15W- My Bass and Drive knobs arnt working... my mid and treble seems to be fine plus all my channels and effects but just those two knobs...and its buggin the **** out of me.... any...

resolder the three legs of the pots back down to the pcb. usually the treble feeds the bass, then from bass to mid then to ground. so if treble and mid are working its hard to imagine why the bass wouldnt be working. i would try to resolder, as you might have cold solder joints. keep it unplugged, pull off the knobs, open it up, remove the pcb screws and pull/flip out the pcb and resolder all of the pots.
