Take it to autozone or checker auto, orielly, precision etc. They can scan it for error codes for free. Then you can get a better idea of what is wrong.

the best thing to do is to take it to auto-zone or advanced auto parts, and they will scan it for free. as long as the check engine light is on. to find the problem code. to tell what the problem is or where the problem starts. repost if need be. after codes are read. good-day !

These code readers are 100% reliable. If you feel it is not getting enough fuel it means there is problem with the ignition. But the actual technical reason is that the timing controls the ignition of the car. If the timing is wrong the problem you are facing can surely happen.

you need to check the grounds if they shorted the sytem they may have damaged the grounds one bad connection can cause lots of problems if it will drive you could take to auto zone an they will run codes an tell you whats wrong if you can not drive it google your van an ask how to read codes it will tell you how to jump the connector an read codes from the check engine light
