I have a Cadco UNOX oven XAF 195 with dynamic display. i bought it second hand. the power in the control panel comes on, but the oven wont start. the far right button the proofer and oven switch wont change.... I dont know if it is related to this. the indicator light Red is always at the Proofer. when i push the button it wont witch to Oven mode.. i set the Time than i set Temp. but when i push the start button it gives codes PRE than POR. is it because the oven wont switch to oven mode from Proofer mode? or is there something i am doing wrong at starting oven?.

i think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.

HELLO, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FIND YOUR CIRCUIT BREAKER BOX AND LOOK IN IT FOR THE BUTTON THAT SAYS KITCHEN. TURN THE KITCHEN POWER OFF FOR 30 MINUTES THEN TURN IT BACK ON. ONCE YOU TURN IT BACK ON THE OVEN SHOULD RESET ITS SELF. TRY THAT AND IT SHOULD HELP.

Try this first!
The control panel has a flat ribbon cable that plugs into the relay module. The ribbon is actually two ribbons pressed together. The plastic insulation has a defect, and the leads between the two ribbons cross. You can seperate them easily by lifting them apart. Place a piece of paper between them to act as an insulator. This should solve your problem. If that does not work, repalce the defective parts yourself. You can do it for about 30% of what a repair company would charge. it's either got to be 1. Control panel 2. Relay panel. Good luck!!!

There is a probelm with the control panel ribbon. You can fix it for about a penny. The panel has a printed ribbon cable that plugs into the relay board. The ribbon cable is actually two cables pressed together, which can be seperated by simply lifting them apart. The ribbon cable has a defect in that the plasic insulation is defective, causing the leads between the two ribbons to cross, or short circuit. Simply place a thin sheet of paper between them, and make sure you push the paper down all of the way to the plastic housing, fold over the edges around the cable, you are done.
