I have a WD-65831 and the picture is very fuzzy and there is a whilte aura around anywhere that has white. also the picture is not very crisp anymore.if I try to fix it then the screen is really dark... but in order to
see anything well I have to turn up certain settings and then it is
incredibly blurry... This TV was awsome and it is going down hill fast,
I have alredy gone thru 2 bulbs and it is just a little over a year old
now.
There is also no difference betwen the 1080 and HDMI. I saw a repairman the other day that claims Mitsubishi is aware of the factory defect. i plan to look into this more. Many blogs show a lot of WD-65831 owners are have bulb and lught engine issues. I thought this was the Top-of-The-Line!?

Ok, well since Mitsubishi already knows about this and our State of The Art TV's are going, going, going fast - What do we do about it. Maybe a class action suit?
Has anyone contact them to see what direction they want to take on repairs or replacement? Who wants to start this off and where can we ALL keep in touch to have a mass following toward correction? Any takers? Any of you lawyers?

This is exactly the problem we're having, too, and we have the same make and model. My sister said yesterday it was like watching TV with dirty contact lenses.
