SOURCE: Whirlpool oven

if you get down to the control panel first try plug and unplugging all the connectors as resistance can cause this in the connectors next take the Mylar ribbon off the control and clean it softly with a pencil eraser as the touch pad malfunction can cause now if you have an ohm meter you can ohm the oven probe it should be 1200 ohms at 70 degrees room tempture if all this fails to fix it then replace the controls bd ive seen too many techs too quick to replace a 200.00 control board just because the eoc spouts out an error code

your latch is defective. they have parts that melt when you use the self cleaning cycle. they also just go out. the door should auto latch when you start the cycle but it times out when it is not seen.

If a new temp sensor doesn't fix an F3, you have a loose connection, or the electronic control is bad.

We had those same symptoms with our range out of the box. It was a problem with the PC board and it was fixed under warranty.

I have p5h code on a whirlpool oven model yxfe36lvb can't find anything on it

The START pad begins any oven function. if the START pad is not pressed within 5 seconds after pressing a function pad, the Push to Start ["PSH"] indicator light will flash and the push to start tone will sound as a reminder. you can download a manual for your range at go to "owner center", scroll down to "manuals & literature" and enter your model number

Oven flashing F and E1 codes when i turn oven on it ays to turn oven off and flashes F1 nd E1 codes

If this is a Kitchenaid, Roper or Whirlpool range, this error indicates an EEPROM error in the control board. Ifthe F1 E1 trouble code continues after you've disconnected the power for over 30 seconds, you need to replace the electronic control board (clock). You can often find parts online with the model number of the unit. (Try partselect.com or searspartsdirect.com (if Sears sold the model).)

I hope this helps.

Oven turns on by itself and F1 flashes on the digital clock

Without being able to look up the error codes for your model (number please!), I would guess that the oven control triac has shorted out or the relay is stuck on (I assume the oven runs at maximum temperature). In any case, the oven microcontroller knows something is wrong, so it says F1 and beeps for help.

Oven doesn't work, stove does

If it's a Whirlpool or Kenmore oven (or one of several other brands that are made by Whirlpool) then this error code means:

F1 - E1 Safety flip flop Replace Electronic Range Control/Clock (ERC)

The system believes that the control board has failed and needs to be replaced.

This page has a list of diagnostic codes by brand and model number. You should check there to look up your particular brand to confirm what I just said.

WHIRLPOOL SUPER CAPACITY 465 (ELECTRIC) MODEL RF366PXGQ - F3 E0

Same thing happened to me about 1 month ago... Did you get some kind of power outage or lightning strike??? I am pretty sure the stove part works but the oven doesn't right?!?! It might be 2 things.. Either the temperature sensor inside the oven doesn't work or it's the control board (where the clock is). I tried to chaned teh temp sensor but it did not work. I then changed the Control Board and oven works again...

Control problem with oven

Macbert, there was a service flash put out by Whirlpool on your model. Service flash-22-763BR. It had to do with a wire in the harness that was not up to specifications and causing the oven to fail during normal operation. Symtoms would include, oven not working, circuit breaker blowing. There is a kit that was put out to correct this problem. 8190764. Now Im going by the model number you have posted. There are other flashes out there concering the thermal fuse behind the control panel, but I can go only on what you posted. You may want to contact Whirlpool and inquire about the service flash I posted..Good luck,
