Sound Card Please help me find sound card driver of Compaq Premiere Sound Model: CT5805. dgghdgdgdertr

Try downloading the drivers from the Compaq website or do a search useing the model number and the word "driver".Reinstalling the drivers and the computer would detect the card.

You can download the drivers at www.compaq.com. Click on the support link, lookup your specific system model # and input the operating system you are using. Then download and install the drivers needed. Hope this helps & please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.

You may have to remove the sound card and copy any numbers or letters on the card. Then google until you find the right driver. If the sound card is the card that came with your computer then go to HP.com compaq/support.

Sound problem

Go to the Compaq website. Under the support section lookup your model #. All bios & driver files will be listed for you available for download. The website is www.compaq.com. Hope this helps & please rate this solution fixya. Thanks.

is that a pci sound card or the one on the motherboard ?

if it is the internal one... go to www.compaq.com and support... then enter the model number or have it autodetect your computer... install the sound driver for your operating system.

You should be able to get the driver from the Compaque website by submitting the model of your computer.

you insert only that drivers which comes with the computer not any other and reset computer after installation if cd of drivers is not present then arrange from anywhere for same model
