Can I use my sherwood rx 4109 receiver to connect to my surround system indoor speakers and outdoor speakers as well

It would actually depend on the make and model of the speakers. Generally the answer is yes but you run into issues when the speakers load the amp down if there are too many or they are wired wrong. There are ways around it though

My powre subwoofer in not working with the sherwood r-945. Can you help.

Hi,
I assumed that your receiver has a SUB RCA jack on the back..
find out the SUB output 1xRCA plugs of your receiver on the back and connect it to the 1x RCA input of your Sub...you just need a RCA cable .

Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up

Can I hook the reciever to mm bose subwoofer and 5

if bose unit has built in amplifier .Then your sherwood would have to have a variable RCA output jacks in order to work with sub. Then bose audio input RCA cable would connect there. If bose unit does not have built in amp .Then you would connect sherwood left/right speaker outputs into bose left/right inputs .Then other bose speakers will connect to bose unit

Hear sound but cant get any real volume even at full blast

I was playing around with my Sherwood RD 6513 and adjust the the output level to its maximum, amongst other settings. This limited my output on the amp to a maximum volume of 65 not 90+.. Anyway i pluged in the microphone and done another 'auto setup' of the volume levels and distances, and this allowed the volume to exceed 65 again!

Also if you have an external source such as a DVD player - i would assume you have already checked its output volume setting?

No power

The Sherwood R-945 has at least 6 fuses inside - any one of them could keep the system from powering on properly. The lowest power fuse is rated at only 35 MILIamps, I believe ( it's element is barely visible to the naked eye ). Check that all fuses are intact (with the power off)

My R-945 unit kept shutting itself off directly after powering up - turned out that one of the speaker wires had a fault - (found after hours searching with voltmeter). Check that all Inputs / Outputs are secure.

Good luck with yours!

No power

disconnect everything from the unit and see if it still does it.
if it does i would check the output transistor (ic).
