Main suspects are powersupply (does happen) and the Main board for the set---it does cause this issue a lot.

someone said it might be this. what do u think Y sustain board Blue/Yellow adjusters on the board start with the setdn! turn it counter clock wise if there is no improvement then turn it clock wise! if there is no improvement then put it back to the factory setting and try the same adjustment to the setup

Be careful as easy to make it worse, those are likely voltage adjustments and the sustain does go to the screen, understand things have to be tested etc but in the end boards are going to have to be replaced to know...welcome to TV repair in 2012

Hitachi 50v500 sceen has little dots showing

You have a set that was involved in a large class action lawsuit---the optical engines in this model had issues where they turned red or another color---little dots in picture is a classic optical light engine problem---last time I looked the part alone not counting labor was over 600 dollars.

Hello I just bought today a Fuji digital camera A230 model. On the back screen I see this tiny red dot on it. Should I get it repaired ? Thank you.

Is the red dot the only thing you see on the screen? Does the owner's manual mention the red dot? If you're concerned and this is a brand new camera, take it back.

My Toshiba 42' Plasma TV has red Dots everywhere popping up randomly and sometimes not at all.. The Model code is 42HP95. Also happens on my 42hp66.

I have a 50hp66 and I had the same problem. But it was easy to fix. I opened up my plasma and found the adjustment pots labeled Vsc and Vy. Then I took a sharpie and marked where the factory defaults were first. Then I lowered the Vy down a little and the problem was solved. It was so easy. My tv looks like new.

Most likely the "Y sustain" board is about to give out.

Tiny dots about 1 inch apart down the side of page

Again, this was actually HP Laserjet 3800. Problem solved by chatting with HP, and them having me go into a diagnosis mode that disabled cartridge check. Then, I removed the cyan cartridge, the dots went away. They then had me put the black into the cyan slot, and not dots appeared. I had backup toner on hand, swapped in a new cyan and magenta, and all was good. HP agreed to replace the cartridges.

Can somebody give me detailed instructions on how to set up a red

I don't fully understand your question--- but

Here is a place that sells red dot finders
http://www.telescope.com/control/category/~category_id=finder_scopes/~pcategory=accessories;jsessionid=673DFBAEF16C9717304DE7863D541CF6.ivprod2

They are very simple-- they project a tiny "red dot" like a gun sight when you look through them. You line them up with your telescope and use them to quickly aim the telescope.

Screen black after big storm...

The set has sound and no picture. If you the SSB could be the issue but the tiny red dots on a black screen will need the panle replaced also. There is a way troble shooting can be done to determine if you will need the SSB or the SSB and the panel.

Red dot

That dot represent lit (stuck) red sub-pixel and if it only one that is not considerable as failure due to dead pixel warranty but you can try to solve this problem with software called screen fix. It possible that during exploitation that red dot dissapear.
Good luck
