How do I transfer photos and videos to pc from my old Sony Ericcson Z520a Cellular Phone?

Hi sir,
You can tarnsfer all the photos to your computer by using the data transfer cable that comes along woth the mobile phone. Insert one end of the cable in ur phone and ther other end in your laptop/computer where USB sign is given. The laptop/computer would detect a new object and open all the data avilable in your mobile. You can select the photos from those folders and copy them and then paste them on your desktop.All the photos in ur sim card and memory card would reflect in your computer once the wire is inserted. Please contact me in case issue is not resolved.

you could blue tooth accross, a "dongle" for a pc is cheap(£6-$8).

hello, hearing your story I can only say that your was not unlocked or can't be unlocked depends if for example was it an offer?
Or they did not have the unlocking program for the phone

To transfer your contacts through the SIM card:

1. Copy your contacts from your old phone to your SIM card. If you need help with this, please consult the old phone user guide.
2. When the copying is done, move the SIM card to your new phone.
3. Select Menu > Contacts.
4. If the phone asks you to copy info from the SIM card, skip steps 5-10.
5. Otherwise, tap Options > Settings > Contacts to display.
6. Select SIM memory > OK, then tap Back.
7. Tap Options > Mark/Unmark > Mark all.
