Unable to print or do any other fuction because of code. I tried to copy through top port of machine and code came out. Opened both trays, checked back of machine & couldn't find any misfed paper.

J93 means = paper remained in adf . sounds like you have a problem with the reed point sensor in the adf door . little black plastic arm , right side should be dangling

WHAT IS 007-243 code error

This fault code isn't specific to one location/function on your machine, however, I believe it is directly related to your paper trays. Other fault codes begining with 007-??? state a tray sensor error, misfed media in a tray etc...
-
If you're trying to print to a specific tray and it won't print giving this error, you may want to try printing using a different tray. It is entirely possible you have some jammed up paper in the paper path and this will stop all trays from printing.
-
Potential solution:
-
Ensure you don't have any paper jams related to your paper path and trays, herre is a link that provides you all iinstructions to clear any paper jam on your device http://www.support.xerox.com/support/workcentre-7328-7335-7345-7346/support/enus.html?associatedProduct=workcentre-7328-35-45-46-built-in-controller

NOTE: The above link is a support knowledgebase and you can search on any problem you may have with your product by typing the natural language query in the search field, paper jam, can't print, scan fails transferiing etc...

Once you have determined there isn't a paper jam or if so gently remove any misfed paper.Reboot the device PO/PO power off/power on.
-
If the print jobs fail again, check your job status and see if there is any info listed for your print job, could be a media mismatch.
-
Try printing to another paper tray, if your job is calling for paper from tray 3 try using tray 4 or tray 5 etc..
-
I have provided a generic response to this question and kind of throwing ideas out there, if you could provide additional information I may be able to give a better solution.
-
Check the details of your job in the job status list?
A lot of times the machine will provide good direction on potential issues with a print job.
-
Are you trying to print on a custom paper size?
If you tell the print driver to print to tray 3 and you have 8.5X11 loaded in tray 3 and your print job from ypour PC is actually 8.5X14 then the job will not print simply put the media has to match the job.

I hope this helps.

I have Panasonic network printer workio 8020, Fault code J93 is showing on display but there is no paper misfed in adf.

There is a sensor that is either knocked out of position or broken. It is not that difficult to take apart if you are a bit handy. First remove the covers and then remove the top cover.

How do i fix an upper misfed jam?

Try removing the paper tray first, the top page will likely be rumpled in some way. Remove that page, return the paper tray, then open the front cover. If there is any paper obviously stuck in the machine, carefully remove it.

My machine does these a LOT, I think if you get the problem frequently you'll need to have the rollers replaced.

MISFED INDICATOR LIGHT FLASHING

There is no code to run.
Did the paper come out as an entire sheet? Or was it torn? There is either a small piece of paper that remains in the machine, or you dislodged a paper switch in removing the jam.

Paper jam in back top area of a konica minolta 2400w [email protected]

moz-screenshot-7.jpgClearing Media misfeeds
To avoid damage, always remove misfed media gently, without tearing it. Any pieces of media left in the printer, whether large or small, can obstruct the media path and cause further misfeeds. Do not reload media that has misfed.
Note
The image is not fixed on the media before the fusing process. If you touch the printed surface, the toner may stick to your hands, so be careful not to touch the print face when removing the misfed media. Make sure not to spill any toner inside the printer.

Clearing Procedures
1. Pull the lever, and then open the top cover. If there is paper in the output tray, remove it, and then fold up the output tray before opening the top cover. Do not touch the transfer belt.

2. Slowly pull out the drum cartridge. removed drum cartridge on top of the printer keep it close and insure it is safe and stable where it sits. Be sure to keep the drum cartridge horizontal and place it where it will not become dirty.
Do not leave the drum cartridge removed for more than 15 minutes, and do not place the removed drum cartridge in a location where it would be exposed to direct light (such as sunlight).

3. Remove any misfed media.

4. Reinstall the drum cartridge

5. Carefully close the top cover

I hope this helps you and thanks for your question.
I the problem persists let Fixya know and we can detail a few items to check in order to determine the cause of the frequent misfeeds.....thanks........Whytfang
