RE: Denon AVR 3300 - I cannot get the system setup menu to display on Phillips P50PFP5332D tv screen? All connected components work and sound great, but I cannot see Denon's Setup menu on tv to a

I understand, it's something I've misunderstood on my denon avr-790 as well when connected to a samsung 8000 series led tv.
The answer isn't in the receiver's settings (you can be on whatever source you want on the receiver end when toggling the menu). You need to toggle through the tv's sources to find the menu (usually found on hdmi 1). I've spent towards an hour recently troubleshooting only to find that it was the tv's source that wasn't set properly and I was trying to change the receiver's settings instead of the tv's source.
Hope that helps!

How to access denon avr-3300 system setup

Hi,

First make sure that your remote control is set to "Amp" as it can control many different devices.

Then make sure that you have connected the Monitor Out socket on the receiver to your TV.

Next make sure your TV is set to show the picture from the input you connected to the Denon monitor out.

Now press set-up button on the remote and the System Setup menu should appear on your TV.

If this helps then please rate my answer,

Many thanks,

Chris

No sound from new sony bravia to denon avr 1610

TV's are not your best source of audio. Get the TV-related audio digitally from the source, NOT the TV.

No Audio Output

OK.....there was a strange thing with this receiver......make sure that you are not on " headphones only ". Had a customer with the same problem. As for the fan, it doesnt run constantly. It only runs when the amp is hot enought to require extra cooling.....HOWEVER....there was a problem with the fans on these units, so much so, that Denon released a modification for the 3300 including a new fan and some upgraded circuitry.

If the unit is not flasning " protection ", or " overload".....you should be OK., however I would spend a few bucks and get the fan mod installed.....these are good sounding units and ecen though it does not have Dolby PL II, and DTS-ES, I have owned a couple of them and find that they sound better than most new ones. Get out your owners manual and look in the headphone section. If memory serves me well, there is even a way to do it with the remote. Good luck.... Rob
