Generally there is an input button on the remote. This is assuming you have the original remote that came with your television. Otherwise, there may be a button on the television itself.

Get your Sanyo TV codes and one by one program the into you RCA universal until you can turn the TV on and off. Find codes at Sanyo.com, the manual, Sat Manual, Vcr Manual etc.

check out Philips support website for codes and instructions for that individual remote. most of their codes are the same for most of their universal remote controls. I suggest getting the original replacement remote for your TV because then you can easily just put batteries in the remote and not have to worry about programming and loosing codes. get the original at www.replacementremotes.com and at the top of the site just type in your model number of you TV and click search. They will set you up with your original remote.
