Raynor garage door opener remote will not work when a 12 vac low voltage lighting transformer is located in the garage. wall button works fine, direct wired. car remotes and key pad will not work when transformer is plugged in and lights outside are on. if i relocate transformer outside of the garage brick wall, but still plug into same outlet, will this stop frequency problems?

SOURCE: Raynor garage opener-remote only works close up sometimes

check to seee if the little wire that hangs out of the operator is hanging out. This wire is the ant. if this is not the problem replace the 12volt battery you can buy them anywhere. make sure you didn't cut off the ant. wire (I have seen customers cut thios wire thinking its an extra and not needed or place the wire inside the box very little signal that way have to be very close)

to test your opener (and antennae) start inside the garage and click the remote. if its ok try again outside the door and keep moving farther away each attempt. if it works up close ok probably the antennae is the problem

The receiver portion of your Main circut board is not working.
try to reset by unplugging your unit for a few seconds and then plug back in. If this doesn't work you will need to replace the logic board.

ensure that the remote is Raynor and compatible with you model GDO
on the back of your garage door opener there is a colored learn button--press and release-the learn indicator light will glow for a short time usually 30 seconds. within thirty seconds press and hold the buton on the hand held remote that you wish to operate your garage door. release the button when the motor unit lights blink. if you don;t have a light, two clicks will be heard. it has learned the code. procedure will be different for multi function control.

Raynor garage door motor won't run and won't open the door. It is not sending power to the system despite being plugged in to a working outlet.

More than likely, the transformer in the opener is fried. You need to verify 110V power coming into the transformer, and that there is 24V AC power coning out of the transformer

Where is the low voltage 24 vac transformer located?

The transformer is located in the furnace. You might want to check to make sure the furnace door is on correctly brcause theres a swich that will open for safety . Also some have a fuse on the solid state board.

Door will not open with wall switch or remote

Depending on the type of motor that is used in your garage door opener, it could be something as small as a start capacitor, or potentially a bad motor. Hope this helps

Remote not working

you will need to train (link) the remote to the garage door opener. to do this you will need to find the remote "train" button on the operator.
If you have the manual for the garge door opener this will show you where it is located.
push the train button on the operator, an LED light will start blinking. Then push one of the buttons on the remote. the LED light on the operator will stay on. push the button on the remote again and the light on the operator will turn off.
try the remote it should work now.
