Hello, without a model number I can only give you a generic outline on how to do this. Go to the "setup" menu, select "channel setup", select "cable mode", then have it "auto program". When it's finished, you should have what cable channels your cable system will allow without a cable box.....thanks

Hello... It sounds like you need to run a channel scan. If you have the owners manual, it should walk you through how to do that. I searched online for one, but couldn't find one. I seem to remember something like "Terrestrial" for Auto-programming channels. I hope this helps!

Try configuring your antenna input. Menu, Installation, Terrestrial, Input Config select your antenna 1 or 2 and > arrow over to select cable. Next auto program: under Terrestrial, Channel Program...this take some time.

Used the tv remote go into tv Menu goto SETUP go down Ch. enter pick CABLE and enter again.Tv now will go into auto scanning for CABLE channels.After the auto scan done for the CABLE channels are finish.After this u will able to go to channel 60 to used the dish remote.

To tune your Panasonic Plasma to on air TV channels do the following:

Connect the antenna connection to its antenna in at the back panel.

Automatically searches and adds available channels to the memory.

Select "ANT in"

Select Cable or Antenna Select "Auto"
Select a scanning mode

Auto channel setup
Select "Auto program"
Select "ANT in"
Select "Auto"
Select scanning mode (ALL channels/Analog only/Digital only

Start scanning the channels

Available channels (analog/digital) are automatically set.

All channels: Scans digital and analog channels

Analog only: Scans Analog channels only
Digital only: Scans Digital channels only
Confirm registered channels

If OK is not pressed after selecting "Apply", the channels will not be saved.

The channel will be saved when no operation is performed for 60 seconds and

the "Manual program" menu will also exit automatically.
If you perform scanning more than twice, previously saved channels are erased.

Analog (NTSC): Conventional broadcasting

Digital (ATSC): New programming that allows you to view more channels
featuring high-quality video and sound

If by tune, you mean program channels;
Press the menu button on the remote and select the Setup option.
Go to Installation, Terrestrial, Channel program, start.
This will automatically add all the channels to your television that you are able to recieve.

This is a LCD tv right?U want to hook up free air or pay cable tv.Go in ur tv menu goto setup,go down to CH.press than pick AIR or CABLE.Than just pick one press scan u will get all free air channels or get all ur pay cable channels

you need to go into menu then setup then auto program

I just tried finding a manual for the toshiba and didn't find much. In the setup menu there should be an auto setup for tuning in channels. Cable or off-air. Let the system do an auto set-up to find channels available. I'll keep looking for a manual. Let me know how you do.
