If you are on Windows 7, do the following:

  1. Click the Start Menu
  2. Type in "Windows Update"
  3. Open Windows Update
  4. Select all the available updates. Click install.
  5. If that fails, determine what hardware component you need the driver for, and head over to Lenovo's website and locate the driver under the Support page for your computer.

Good luck!

I installed all the updates and the driver is still missing. I can't seem to find it on the lenovo website either.

Victor Perez wants more answers to this question
Hyjackers, many.
not one told what OS they run here.

making any answer wrong, or wild guess.
why post lacking such KEY Facts. or start your own post
1: what PC full model NOT STATED AT ALL , wow !
2: what OS , windows what or? (32bit and 64bit OS /???????)_
3: tell what is dead, OK you forgot to say web camera.

so what is the post here at Lenovo. on topic, why not ask your maker of your PC how to make your PC work right,
they designed it for sure not fixya.
its a decade old now, so you running W10 and expect relic parts this old on USB ports to work, gee 10,000 devices do not work on w10, (as 1 example)
there is XP and vista drivers
and w7 driver works, on w7
but is your OS 32bit or 64bit,you never once said
here is the cure for w7
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Displays-Options-and-Accessories/Cannot-Find-Driver-for-Lenovo-USB-Webcam-12-80401/m-p/3352977/highlight/true#M7580

    way #1
make PC web connected, so PnP can work
    PLUG AND PRAY, ok?
then jack in the above camera (try all USB ports. (some pcs the usb2 are good and usb3 ports dead due to , missing USB3 drivers !!!_
make sure the unstated PC USB ports are not dead in device manager first.
if are they all this is hopeless, fix USB ports first that are dead,

The PC then sees you plug in said camera.
if the PC unstated OS can't find the driver from microsofts PnP severs (XP is dead there.... ooops)
then the only driver is from Lenovo. forum
ask them for it or read the post above.

My web cam noy working

You need to re download the drivers for your crystal eye web cam. Go to this link:http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers
When you get there, select "Notebook"...then select "Aspire". Then scroll down and select Aspire 3680. Then where you see "Operating System", select your operating system (ex: XP, Vista, or Windows 7). It will then show all the drivers for your operating system...scroll down until you see the camera driver software and then download and reinstall it. Hopefully this will help...good luck.

INTEGRATED CAM NOT WORKING

Install the driver for windows Vista first,

1) Bring up the device manager. You do that by clicking on Start button and then type 'Device Manager' in the search box. Select the "Device Manager" in the list.
2) In the list of devices, you will see "Chicony USB 2.0 Camera" with yellow bang on it. You will see either code 19 or code 1 as error codes.
3) Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
4) In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
5) Then in the Action menu of Device manager, select Scan for Hardware changes option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled

Same goes for LiteOn Camera Driver.

Everything will be fine after that.

The cam not working whin i istslled vista

Yeah this series of Lenovo's 3000 is using a webcam of another manufacturer. So Vista can't detect it because by default Vista doesn't have its driver. So I recommend you to go to Lenovo's website & then go to DRIVERS & DOWNLOAD section...and then enter your model number..

After that it will display u whole list of drivers available for this laptop.
And then you can download your webcam's driver for VISTA 32 BIT...
Install that and it will surely fix your problem.

Intergrated web cam is not detected

Hopefully you are using vista 32 bit operating system.

Press fn+Esc to enable the webcam if not already available.
If you suspect that drivers are not available then you can collect the driver from the following location.
