I have installed the BL-C30 cam, and it works fine on the local network, but I get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" when I try to get to the viewnetcam webpage. I have tried all kinds of auto and manual configs on the camera's software, as well as my router. Can anyone help here please? Thanks Tyler
I had the same problem. Even tried turning DMZ on in my router, and specified the camera IP as one in the DMZ. What helped me was using a port scanner (do a google search). I then started trying different things until I saw the port was opened. Once the port was open, I was able to access the camera from the internet, even from within my internal network. It turned out my problem was I have Vonage VOIP phone service and the Vonage router was ahead of my network router. Apparently the Vonage router wasn't allowing internet traffic to the camera. I switched positions of the routers (my wireless router is now first, and my Vonage router is plugged into the wireless router) and everything works fine now.
I've had the BL-C131 for about 9 months and it's worked very well apart from when I replaced my modem/router and then I called Panasonic tech support. They are very good and if need be can remotely set up your camera. You obviously have to have 'remote management' enabled on your router for them to do that.Their number is 0870 9070357.
Ok everyone of you experts. Please help. I have had the BL-C30A for three years now only to get it back out and try to get it to work. So, today, I got it set up, ran the Ethernet cable in attic, dropped it down outside, hooked it up, installed software, etc. When I am on my main computer which my router is hooked too as well as where I installed the Cam software, I can see what I am supposed to see. Also, in my laptop that I use in my LR, I can see the same and all controls all work fine so just to make you aware. Now, my problem is, the wireless part of this nightmare. I read directions, nothing works. I also can not view my cam from away from home. Now, I know I tried to read some of your guys answers but I ain't this computer smart, so HELP! Can someone email me or write in here simple "DUMMY" directions with steps on how to solve both of these issues???
Hi guys, don't forget to fill router default gateway option, if not is not possible that the camera access to the router
I've had a similar problem monitoring a second home about 1600 miles away. Fortunately, i was able to get a relative to unplug the camera power supply for a minute and the plug it back in. Problem was corrected. On my next trip back to Canada, I'll set up this camera power supply on an appliance type timer so it shuts off in the middle of the night and then turns back on about an hour later.

What ya may have to do is "allow" it to be "Seen" from the "Outside" to do this ya gonna have to open a "Port" through your firewall and router.. Have you done that? That is the only thing I can think of. Set up an IP address & port for the Cam, on the networked PC ya gonna use, open the corresponding Port in it's Firewall and the Router...remember ya cannot see it "Outside" from "Inside" your network only another person "Outside" would be able to see it..

can not get to nevadacity.viewnetcam.com on the web from ANY network. IE error 'can not display this page"
...was working fine last week or so ago, now I have the same problem; haven't changed anything but got a notice from Panasonic about how they are now administering viewnetcam.com - Is this why there's a loss of service?
Having same issue. Can't get to viewnetcam.copm
Yes...have same issue. Was working fine and all of a sudden I can't see my camera using the xxx.viewnetcam.com:50000 URL address. Has anybody gotten an acceptable response or acknowledgement from Panasonic?
I have a linksys router and BL-C131. I have UPnP turned on and port forwarding setup but I still cannot see it from internet. Please help.
Been having the same intermittent problem for several days now. Sometimes I can get internet access (via viewnetcam) back if I disable internet access for the camera, reset the camera, re-enable internet access for the camera, and then reset for the second time. (I do this thru the cameras software 'Setup tab', 'Network' tab, 'Automatic Setup' link). I can gain internet access for a short time and then I lose it again for some unexplainable reason. I always have camera access using the IP address on my local LAN. I'm really frustrated and need a solution.
I have got a BL-C131, and got the same experience as THUNTOR does: I can access http://xxx.viewnetcam.com:50000 well, but all in the sudden, I cannot access it (especially after switching off and on the IP cam again). I gotta disable and enable the internet options again.
I am so frustrated about it.
I did the installation and setup for this single camera today.
I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 router. At the end of the installation, theUPnP forwarding information in the router setup appears to beconfigured to route port 50000 to a specific IP address.
On my local PC, I can go to that IP address:port# and can view the camera.
If I go to the Camera URL:port# (the URL for viewnetcam), I get an error "Internet Explorer can not display the webpage".
My registration info for viewnetcam says the DDNS is Active.
If I go to the Router Global Address:port#, I get the same error "Internet Explorer can not display the webpage".
Can anyone help me figure out how to get the internet access working?
Also, has anyone tried to access this camera on a Treo?
Thanks in advance!

same problem; sometimes it's fine and i can log right on, other times...nothing
Same problem. I can access my viewnetcam website at home using my wireless network or other's. I also can log on my website once at office, then freeze the window, and cannot access for ever. What is wrong with my set up.
same problem with mine.
I have had the same issues with my BL-C30A intermittently. I am thinking it is a viewnetcam site problem? because my router / firewall work fine with cameras etc.access outside the network and sometimes the camera is not accessable except from internal IP's.
It was working for me off and on for about a week and then it just quite completely.
had my modem bridged, have a port open, internet explore doesn't even get me to myaddress.viewnetcam.com When I checked on my address, viewnetcam said it was active. What do you suggest?
