Hi I have Sony VAIO VGN NS135 laptop on which I have installed Windows Vista Ultimate Now there is error in booting and showing these lines Booting 'Windows Vista' acpi Vista Loader 2.1.2 Done! fallback 1 find --set-root /bootmgr {this hangs for approximately 3 minutes then the following attempt occurs:} Error 17: File not found Booting 'Windows NT/2000/XP' fallback 2 find --set-root /ntldr {this hangs for approximately 2 minutes then the following occurs:} Error 17: File not found Booting 'Enter Command Line' Boot failed! Press any key to enter command line. so please help me

This means that the operating systems was not installed properly...."Boot manager is failed... and ntldr is the main file... which help computer to boot up..." try reinstalling the operating system again...

My sony vaio vgn-cr220E was uprraded from vista to windows 7..why does the biult in motion eye camera doesnt work..

You need the Win7 camera driver, check sony support at:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNCR220E&SelectOS=44

just enter your Win7 operating system (there are 9 versions of Win7), and select the downloads (2)
for your computer camera driver.

Versions of microsoft Win7 - determine which yours is by (these instructions are for WinXP);

START > Control Panel > System > General (tab)

Hi m having vaio(vgn cr11 gh) with windows 7 ultimate camra(motion eye) is not working :(

i assume you upgraded the operating system to windows 7 ultimate using a retail copy of disc.
vgnfj270/b only supports windows xp and vista home basic.

  • this model of vaio doesnt have a camera driver and software for windows 7 ultimate. check this link

You can create your own disc from the Vaio recovery center.

If the computer is no longer booting up and the Vaio Recovery center is no longer accessible, you can call sony parts center to check if you can buy a recovery disc for your unit

VAIO VGN-AR630E Drivers for Vista Ultimate

Vista Home premium drivers will work perfectly with Windows Vista Ultimate. When installing Vaio event service and Vaio Control center make sure that you run setup file as administrator. Right-click the setup file and select option "run as administrator". By reinstalling utilities this way they will work perfectly well
