Okay my compaq presario f700 keeps turning its self off if its in high performence and its really annoying because when its on power saver it is slow. do you know what is wrong with it ,if so can you get back too me.

disconnect your keyboard and see of the beeps go away and then try a external usb keyboard if possible.

If you can get it to boot change the power settings to high performance, sleep and hibernate to never and the screen saver to never.

You need to print this out-on someone else's computer. Hope it works for you!
Remove the battery and charger/ac adapter/power cord from your Compaq Presario F700 laptop, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual current inside the Compaq Presario F700 . To restore your Compaq Presario PC f700: Turn the computer on, then while restarting, Press and hold the F11 key. Under HP Recovery Manager, select the option to perform a system recovery. ***Note*** Doing this will delete everything that are save in your computer. Back up your files before doing this.

could be a memory or video card failure, are you in miami?

Was there any power outage in your area and was the laptop plugged in at that time, if so your Motherboard has been fried, your need a new Motherboard.

Download PC Wizzard, ( it is free) Install, Here you will find all the info you need involving, Hardware performance, hardware specs, Good luck. I did do a search and found that the f700 has a Mobile AMD Sempron™ Processor 3600+ but no seprate mention on motherboard.

seems that same System Files have been damaged. Try starting in Safe Mode or use the Recovery Console from the windows disk to repair the OS.

Its normal, generally it comes with 80-90 min. You can use HP Power management to optimize the use of battery. Making screen less bright will increase the power backup.
