Wont start replaced spark plug cleaned carb replaced air filter
If you have good fuel and a good spark it may be a mechanical issue, remove the muffler and check the condition of the piston face through the open exhaust port, any signs of damage or scuffing and it will need to come aprt to assess the damage, if all looks good it may be a crank seal leaking, the 36 was prone to blowing the seal behind the flywheel, also check the flywheel key in the flywheel has not sheared knocking the ignition timing out.

ok, The choke is used to change the air/fuel mixture by "choking" off the air that goes to the carburator. The choke is only used to get the motor running in cold temperatures. Once the motor is started, the choke must be opened or the motor will flood and stall when you open the throttle. I hope this solves your problem. Best wishes, Michael Mittelsdorf

might have picked up some sedements from being low on gas. check your diaphrams in the card a small hole or even dirt can stop it up
SOURCE: Husqvarana Rancher 55 , how to clean the exhaust port
Cleaning the exhaust: on the saws I've worked with it was just to loosen two bolts at the front and then the exhaust is off the saw. Clean with brake cleaning fluid and blow with compressed air, let it dry before assembling. Don't forget to clean the fine mesh at the output side underneath the lid if present (i.e the spark arrestor).
Make sure to have your carb adjusted properly afterwards.

hi
if you have a good compression,a strong enough blue spark and carburetion for the fuel air mixture try priming the engine(put small amount of gas in the spark plug hole)then start the engine.If the engine runs only the gas you put inside the cilinder there is a carburetion problem to find and fix.
let me know regards savumihai71
