Go into the BIOS settings during initial power on boot up, often F10 or F2 are common. Check the date and time, if they are off, you should be able to temporarily boot by setting the date and time but you'll have to do it every time you boot. If the date and time is off, and you set the correct date and time and it still doesn't boot, you'll want to make sure it's booting to the correct drive.

When it doesn't boot, does it give you any error?

1. Obtain a Mac OSX install disc (buy one from apple or try Ebay) 2. Insert the disc then click on the "Install Mac OS" icon. Then click the restart button. 3. DONT INSTALL! Just click through enough of the windows to get to the regular set of choices on the menu bar. One of those choices is UTILITIES and one of the choices there is RESET PASSWORD.
Simple, but you should know that anyone with a Mac OSX install disc can gain access to your computer.

I got this from another post by gvape. This will work to reset your password so that you can reset the time and date. If this make no difference to your keyboard issues I would look at replaceing the keyboard.

Yes, there is an internal battery that keeps the time, it is called the cmos battery and belive it or not, if the time is not set, it won't boot, you can get a cmos battery for your laptop pretty cheap on ebay, and east to install, just pop the old one out and put the new one in, must open the laptop to do this, or take it to someone to do it for you.

u dnt need tht book.. open ur phone. menu->settings->date&time settings->ntr ur time and dat
if u want it to be updated by ur network then turn automatic time update on

hi there on the front there is a small wheel turn your switch to the letter (m) then press down the small wheel on the right of machine, this will give you the menu so you cant change date from that hope that helps
