From your description, it seems something wrong with the connection between your card and camera.
As a suggest that, you can use a memory card reader to reduce the consumption of your camera accessories. If there is something wrong with your memory card, you can replace it easily and with low cost, but if there is something wrong with camera accessories, that's more trouble.
DEAR CHECK THAT WHERTHER YOU CAMERA HAVE A MAKE PICTURES HIDDEN OPTION OR NOT. SOME TIME FILES ARE HIDDEN. TRY THIS GO TO START MENU THEN CONTROL PANEL. SELECT FOLDER OPTIONS SELECT VIEW FROM CLICK SHOW HIDDEN FILES. BEST OF LUCK
I would start by looking into the memory card slot to see if you have a bent pin. You may need a small light and a magnifying glass to see them. If the pins are okay, then you can try a reset by holding down the BKT and metering buttons together for 2 seconds. The metering button is on the left, behind the off/on/release.

OK, I'VE GOT ONE IDEA THAT MIGHT WORK. IT'S WORTH A TRY. DO THIS. TURN YOUR COMPUTER OFF> CONNECT YOUR CAMERA>TURN THE CAMERA ON>THEN, TURN YOUR COMPUTER ON AND SEE IF YOUR COMPUTER WILL RECOGNIZE IT THEN. THIS SHOULD CAUSE THE COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE THE CAMERA.
