SOURCE: Incoming Call not Ringing

Either call line 3 first, or make your phone ring :-)

What might be the easiest is to swap modular plugs in the back room between 2 and 5. That way, you get your old extension back and everything will work as it did.

If you can't do that, then you're going to have to do some system programming to turn on the ringing on your phone. If you have a TA series system, you should be able to do it from either the PC or a phone connected to jack $1. If you have another model, you should have a system manual on how do make programming changes.

SOURCE: MY EXTENSION DOESN'T RING FOR

JUST AS YOU'RE TOO LAZY TO USE THE SHIFT KEY AND LOSE THE CAPS LOCK KEY, I'M TOO LAZY TO LOOK UP THELINK TO A MANUAL. HOWEVER, I CAN TELL YOU THAT YOU COULD GO TO THE PROGRAMMING MANUAL FOR A PANASONIC KX-TD 816/1232 AND LOOK AT DIL 1:N PROGRAM 603 AND 604. IT'S WHERE YOU SET THE EXTENSIONS THAT RING WHEN A CALL COMES IN.

SOURCE: On the Panasonic KX-T7633, how

A couple of ways, the easiest is to dial *41103 on the intercom. *40 may also work, but it picks up any ringing outside line.

SOURCE: how to assign password for the extension not to make international calls

It's not a password, it's a restriction. You change the Class of Service for the phone and put in the international code as a restricted digit.

Check your Programming manual for the system.

Calls are not ringing out on all extensions of Panasonic KX-TES824 PBX. What could be the cause.

Hi,

it sounds like someone activated silent mode on the phone. But that is usually for a period of time and does not link to specific extensions. You might need to use an extension-feature-clear in order to remove any type of ring-silencers linked to any given extension. Please reference your manual for the steps to execute the feature clear.

Thank you.

We have a new KXTES824 which we are setting up here with a mix of KXT7730 and SLT phones. We've done this before without incident but have an odd problem. We have a single phone connected (PT) and...

One of the ports is shorted or you have the DISA turned on. Start by dialing each extension 101-1xx on the 824 and make sure that none of them are tripping the ring. You'll probably find that one of the ports is bad, the wiring is bad, or there is a programming issue. IIRC the U.K. system is not delivered with DISA, but you may have installed or turned on that feature.

Hi i have a panasonic KX-TES824 installed with 2 co lines and 4 extensions. I want the ringtones to be different for internal telephones (ie call between the extensions) and the CO Lines (when call comes...

A Panasonic Analog PTS ring sound is not adjustable, however, the cadence is. An outside call rings with a single ring, an internal call is either voice announce or a double ring. The digital phones from Panasonic have either 8 or 30 different tones, but that's a different system.

I can ring out on phone but the phone or base wont ring on incoming calls night mode is not on and all the volumes are turned up

It sounds like you don't have it programmed to ring. The volume controls the sound, but programming controls the ringing. Try night mode (782 from extension 101) to put it into night and test again, or check out the sytsem programming for ring modes.

KX-T7730 Picking up Problem

You are on the right track but the extension number is not " 0 ". There is an extension number associated with the operator phone just as your phone may be " Extension 101". If you have a display phone have the operator call you and look at your display for her/his extension number then when their phone is ringing, pick up your handset, dial 4 plus the extension number of the operator. Let me know how it works out. .....Mitelmike
