Try using your default gateway IP instead of you actual IP.

If you are using windows type CMD into your run command (usually under the start>run or if using vista/W7 into the search bar) and pressing enter. Then type ipconfig and press enter.

This will give you something like this:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : gv.shawcable.net
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::e89b:17b9:c1e5:6a6d%13
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.103
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

Take the Default Gateway IP (In this case 192.168.0.1) and type it into your browser.

I can't access my netgear Modem I need web address

Hi

Do you mean you need the IP address on which you can access the router portal settings?

Try to enter 192.168.1.0, if you cannot still access into the router try to reset the router. You can find a small hole at the back of the router you may use a small pin like paper clip, press the button for 5 seconds.

Let me know here again.

Thanks

I cannot log in to my router

Hi,
I want to tell you that every router requires some different ip address through which you can access the router page. I can give you few steps which you can follow and it will resolve your concern.

1. Make sure that you have disable your antivirus from your computer and no firewall should be active.
2. Click on Start - Run - Type in "cmd"
3. It will give you black screen that is command prompt.
4. Under black screen you have to type "ipconfig" and press enter
5. You will get some information on your computer related to Ip address
6. Now you can see default gateway and it will show you some numbers
7. You have to use the same numbers to login to your router
8. or you can also try the address www.routerlogin.com
9. It will ask you for user name and password by default it is "admin" and password "password" in lower case

These steps take you to login to your router page. I believe that will help you to resolve your concern.

Thanks & Regards

Need network security key or passphrase for my netgear DG834Gv4/DG834GBv4 !!! PLEASE( IP 192.168.0.1)

There is a login key for the router that can be accessed by opening the
address http://192.168.0.1 as described: after the login all settings inside the router can be changed.
Note: use a wired connection when going into the routers' ip address.

When you can not login with the default password, reset the device:

Restoring the Default Configuration and Password
This section explains how to restore the factory default configuration settings, changing the
router’s administration password to password and the IP address to 192.168.0.1. You can erase the
current configuration and restore factory defaults in two ways:
• Use the Erase function of the Web Configuration Manager.
• Press the WPS button and Wireless button on the side of the router simultaneously. You can
use this method for cases when the administration password or IP address is not known.

Resetting to Factory Default Settings
You can use this method for cases when the administration password or IP address is not known.
To restore the factory default configuration settings:
1. Press and hold the WPS button and the Wireless button on the side of the router until the Test
LED turns on (about 10 seconds).
2. Release the buttons and wait for the router to reboot.

WIRELESS SECURITY + PASSPHRASE
The wireless security is a network name for wireless connection called
SSID: the identification name of your router.
The passphrase is used for a secure password getting permission to have wireless data transfer from the router to the computer and vice versa. ( No internet connection so far: only Local Area Network [LAN] )

MODEM
Because the device is a router / ADSL modem you'r able to setup the
modem part for connection on a telephone line to the internet / Wide Area Network [WAN] .
You should use passwords from the Internet Service Provider [ ISP ] enter and save them in the modem section of the device.

make sure you are putting the network key correctly...if you dont know tha network key.. try the following.. . Connect a computer to the router using any one of the 4 available ports.
2. Open the browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari).
3. Access the router usually by typing 'http://192.168.0.1' or 'http://www.routerlogin.com' in the address bar.
4. Login to the router with the Username as "admin" and Password as "password" (please note that the Username and Password are case sensitive).
Click on wireless settings (under setup) from left menu.
Change the channel to 11
*-security option > select wep.. in KEY 1 put a ten digit number .... nothing under passphrase ..
Apply settings to save the changes.
*-then try to connect your PS 3

Can't get internet access through NetGear DG834G Router

You have to configure your router...

If your ISP provided you with IP Address, enter the assigned IP address, subnet mask, gateway IP address anbd DNS IP address for your broadband router.

If you connect to the Internet using an xDSL Modem and your ISP has provided you with a Password and a Service Name, then your ISP uses PPPoE to establish a connection. You must enter the required information.

Hope this could help..
