TV picture failure with vertical lines, with very occasional picture recovery, occasional pixel "clouding" across screen. TV repair guy identified T-Con board as source of problem, jostling board caused picture to jump, occasionally recover for 1 or two frames but always failed again almost immediately. When looking on ShopJimmy, we found a Samsung board that listed our TV as a match. Is this correct? Just wondering if cross brand parts are a common occurance in this model.

I am not sure...but I have the identical problem. I believe the vertical lines are caused by the inverter board and the darkness is caused by the one of the back lights that needs to be replaced. I am tearing my unit apart now and will find out.

You can try reseating the ribbon cable between the T-CON and the LCD panel, be real careful, very delicate cables.

Guess the question was a little too expert for this site's "experts". Figured as much. I'll install the Samsung board and update the post to let people know... FFR.
Perhaps you mean "impolite". So not only do you not have any input or information, you're an illiterate troll as well. I see exactly what kind of site this is, a bunch of hack amateurs and belligerent trolls. Is that your area of expertise? Trolling and picking fights with people better than you?
