Whirlpool dishwasher DU1015XTXBO Type number 575-0 . Stopped working during cycle, acts like it isn't getting any power to it. We unplugged it, and Checked the outlet with a tester and and outlet works fine. Still No lights or anything coming on the dishwasher. Its like it just died.

Having read another users fault (LUNNY) that has same fault. They got engr out and it was a blocked pump. Where is the pupmp located on this model as I have the same fault and want to resolve it asap.

It sounds like the thermal fuse in the control console has blown.
Turn power off to unit.
Remove the outer door panel and then the console.
Remove the black plastic cover from over the circuit board if it has one.
You should see the thermal fuse clipped to the circuit board housing.
If you have an ohm meter, check for continuity across it, it should read closed.
If you don't have a meter, unplug the wires from it and and hook them together.
Turn power back on to unit, hold door switches down and cancel cycle. The washer should drain the water.
If this doesn't work, check your door switches to make sure they are closing properly.

will these units (silo and jtrip) start back on their own? if so, it is likely they are heating the water.
otherwise it sounds like a logic board, unless there is a defective door switch or sensor issue.
electronics seem to be a recurring problem with whirlpool.
i would ask whirlpool (electorlux) to either buy it back or fix it.
good luck

try only filling the detergent cup halfway. but before doing that run a cup of vinegar through the dishwasher. that should solve the problem. you are using to much detergent. plus use powder detergent if it is stated in your owners manuel.

I had this problem just two days ago. For me it was the thermal fuse. On my dishwasher it is located on the main control board, at the top. It is white and has two wires going into to separate terminals. It says "Microtemp" on it. I used a small wire to short it and see if that was the case. Be careful though. There is also another fuse on the bottom of the dishwasher that looks like a little black cylinder with a silver cap, and two terminals coming out of it for wires. In our case that fuse was fine.
