unfortunately the programmer is faulty

The motor coupling is about to completly go out on you and then it will not spin at all. This is common on these machines. the repair should be under $100.00. The motor brake may also be dragging.

worn gears

first of all take the waste pipe out from the back of the washer which goes to the outside drainage,make sure you have a bucket to catch all the water that comes out,the lower the pipe the faster it will come out,then you will be able to open the door,and the problem that you have with it stopping in middle of cycle is that the bushes are worn on the motor,these are easy to replace and cost about £10.00

LD stands for long drain, you probably have a bad pump or the pump is clogged with lint etc.

I HAVE A KENMORE ELITE WASHER AND IT STOPS IN THEN MIDDLE OF THE CYCLE AND DOESN'T RISNSE. THE DISPLAYS SHOWS F21. CAN YOU LET ME KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?
