Power sypply for kb36 xbr - Televison & Video

you need to replace defective capacitors in the power supply of the tv

the problem on this tv is the power supply , the power sypply has some bad capacitor and that way is not working , need to take cover off at take a look at power supply there you would see the capacitor with the top pop

there is a possibility that the power supply is defective. i had experienced this issue on my computer before.
Note: to check if the problem is with the power supply check at the back of your tower and the FAN should be working and it never stop. if it does you will need to clean or change the power sypply.

the power sypply is out on ur tv and is a easy fix , take the cover off and look at the power supply and u would see a bad capacitor 2 or may be 3 bad capacitor , they are about $1 , each the cap look like they are blow

How old is this machine? It sounds like a power supply issue. If you have a different PC you could try and swap power sypplies.

Check that the power supply fan is operating. If not, take it back under warranty.

Have you checked the local electronics parts store like Radio shack?
