Bread machine kneading blades

One of my blades on my dual blade Wolfgang Puck bread machine will no stay on. I comes off during the kneading so I have to pause the machine every few minutes and set the blade back on the shaft. I have cleaned the blade, shaft and area around it perfectly.

If you can give me some advice I'd appreciate it greatly.

Thanks,
Jan in Oregon

I have the same problem! AND the blades are shaving the grey material they are made of into my dough!! Blech...They are replacing the blades, but I am not convinced that will solve the problem.

Make sure you line the blade up with the post, and push down firmly on the blade. The top of the post should be even with the top of the blade.
(I occassionally forget to push down, and have that problem. When I do push it down (not real hard) I do not have the problem). After bread is removed, I fill the pan with warm water to make it easier to remove the blades from the pan.

I was given a regal bread maker model k6751 is the kneading blade supposed to turn the whole time?

No, the blade only turns when the machine is in a mix or knead cycle. There are many minutes where the blade does nothing. This is when your machine is allowing the dough to rise or at the end during the bake phase.

Kneading blade comes off during breadmaking process

Yes, if the blade come off then your bread is not going to mix and knead properly. The blades on all makers are designed to slip on and off though so you can remove them for cleaning etc. Be sure you are pushing the paddle all the way on. If it still comes off when mixing that would be very odd as the weight of the dough ball itself helps keep paddles on. I have owned dozens of machines by different manufacturers and never had a paddle come off in process.

Kneading blade stays in the bread

I had that problem with my Zoji breadmaker. I sprayed a little non-stick spray on the blad and it worked. You can also spray the pan.

Kneading blade stays in bread after cooking.

Hi,

This sometimes happens. I have a Panasonic.

When you place contents in pan with some machines it is important to place contents
in a particular order. I should try to keep contents away from the kneading blade as you place them.
Another thing that might possibly help is to put a litter olive oil around the blade before adding ingredients.

Hope that this helps
