I would like to change router wifi password
SOURCE: Cannot connect with ATT modem
Connect your pc to the ATT box. If online, check the ip address of the computer. If the ip address is 192.168.1.x, then you just have to change the router ip address. The wrt54g ip is 192.168.1.1, it may be having conflict with the ATT modem. Change the wrt54g ip to 192.168.2.1
Good Luck

SOURCE: How to create a security enable router?
Firstly, confirm that your ISP connection for email and internet is working correctly. Then connect the router to the ISP using the ADSL plug, and to your computer using the ethernet connection. It is best to set up your router using a wired connection to your computer. Once set up, you can connect your computer using WiFi. Have your ISP username and password handy.
There are two steps to secure your router:
1. Change your ADMIN password. Using a web browser like Intenet Explorer, type in the address, http://10.1.1.1. This should take you to a sign-on screen. Username is "admin", and password is set at the factory as "admin". You should now be logged in to your router. Go to the TOOLS tab, and change your admin password. NOTE THIS DOWN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
2. Secure the wireless part of the network: Go to the HOME tab, and select either WEP security (good) or WPA security (better, but some devices like printers don't like this).
For WEP you will need to enter a 10-digit WEP key. Numerals will do, or you can use hexadecimal (base 16) notation if you know this. Numerals will do and are no less secure. NOTE THIS DOWN in a secure place. Click the "APPLY" button.
For the WPA alternative, you should select the "Pre-shared Key" radio button, and code in your WPA password in the "PSK String" field. This can be a word and or numerals. I don't think spaces or other characters are allowed. NOTE THIS DOWN in a secure place. Click the "APPLY" button.
That's IT!! You've changed the admin password and secured the wireless part of the network.
You will then need to code the WEP or WPA password into the devices like printers and computers that you want to connect to the WiFi. For Vista computers, right click on the network icon in the tray (two little computers overlapping) and select "Connect to a network". Enter the WEP or WPA password when you see SSID "default" or your SSID if you've changed it. Most printers have a connection wizard.
There is a further enhancement if you are really paranoid: change the SSID and turn off the SSID broadcast. Go to the manual at:
ftp://files.dlink.com.au/products/DSL-G604T-GenII/Manuals/DSL-G604T_GenII_Manual_v1.11.pdf
if you want further details. Good luck with your secure network.
