If this model has that it will be one of the rear sets of component jacks which will be marked as HD or 1080-----use the input button on the remote or the set if there to change to the correct input on the set. Hookup and select correct input.

How hook up dvd player to tv. what channel put tv on to see dvd pitcure

You should be connecting your DVD player to either an HD input or a composite video connection. Most modern TV SHOW will have at least 2 HD connections. On your TV setup menu there should be an HD connection to choose (probably HD-2) You will need to switch your input selection on your TV menu between HD/TV for TV and HD2 for DVD. It's hard to give specific directions without knowing the TV and DVD models.

JVC HD-52G886 TV no picture when watch tv but have perfect picture when watch a dvd

It almost sounds like a setting issue that might require the proper remote to control. You mentioned "tv input" are we talkin RF/Cable screw on input or rca type composit video input? and essentaily yes to your question all the inputs are microprocessor controlled as well as the entire functionality of the set. You can probably pick up the correct remote for a few bucks on ebay or elsewhere on the net.

I have a 32inch Phillips HD ready TV but there does not seem to be and HD input for my DVD player

"HD input" is HDMI. If the DVD doesn't have HDMI output then use the 5 wire hookup - the component hookup.
The TV input for HD would be HDMI or component input - 5 wires.

Connecting a PS3 to an LGHT902

Hi there,
If your TV is HD then the very best way to connect it is to use HDMI cables. These cables carry HD Video and Audio. both the PS3 & LG HT902 have HDMI connectors so if your TV does then these are all you need.
Connect one from the PS3 to an Input on the LG then one from the Output on the LG yo your TV.
I would not buy the cables locally because you will likely pay $25 to $50 each. You can get them on ebay or from Monoprice.com for about $5.

How to get a high definition Picture??

Hi, first of all you need a high definition source. I'm not sure if your cable box is HD but lets take it as an example. The component leads which you are using isn't 'true' HD video quality, what you need is a hdmi cable from your source to your TV.

Your cable box maybe HD with a HDMI output, if it is then you need the lead to come out of the cable box into your tv's HDMI input using a HDMI lead. Then you switch your TV's source to the HDMI input and it then should be producing a HD quality picture, but to truly get the full HD experience you may want to subscripe to a HD channel or purchase a blueray player becasue most cable TV channels are upscaled to HD and the definition is not as good as on a blue ray disc or a true HD channel.

So in conclusion the cable and input you are using is not designed for HD input. I believe your TV is HD, check for HDMI inputs or DVI inputs.

Hope this explains your problem

HD input

On the Magnavox projections, only one of the inputs supports hight than 480p input IE: 720p, 1080i. Make sure it is the correct input.
