Face book and you tube dont work on my pc

Which internet browser are you using? are you using internet explorer or firefox.. I suggest that you use either chrome or firefox or ny other internet browser to check if the problem still occurs.

It usually an error in your internet browser.

Hello,

This is pretty simple:

1- This problem is mostly generated with FireFox (although I am a FF fanatic myself), solve it through clearing all your Private Data (hit CTRL+****+DEL) and choose all boxes then clear the data. Restart FireFox and try again.

2- Do the same with Internet Explorer (clear all your cache, cookies, history) and surf youtube.com

do you use another firewall than the build-in-windows-one? like zone-alarm

configure your firewall to open port 80 for your browswer's needs

specify OS, firewall and browser plze

There's something going on with their server. Sometimes they are doing site maintenance or upgrades and you will get this message. Try it after a few moments (or sometimes an hour or so) and it should be fine. There's nothing wrong with your computer or internet connection, as you were able to post here.

Ok, first thing's first:  Youtube is currently up and running.
Having stated that, it sounds like your browser is hanging on to a saved cookie (may be malignant) or a saved offline web page.
You didn't really state which Browser you are using, but if you are using Internet Explorer, then you should go to your browser and click on>     tools > Internet Options
Look at the section called 'Temporary Internet files'
Click on the buttons that say "Delete Cookies" and "Delete files"  (or adjust the wording acording to your version).
**IMPORTANT:  After this is done,  you will no longer be able to automatically sign on to websites where you have chosen to keep your login information.  You will need to sign on again.

Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.facebook.com, but in other site i can connect,only face book i can't connect, what's the prob??
It might be due to problem in facebook server. Sometimes the server for little time that's why website can't be opened.
Also try to optimize browser by clearing history, empty cache, remove unwanted tool-bars and Add-ons.

I get these request all the time, Tell people how they can use you tube at there work or classroom.

Since I do not know what type of network your own or on I would say use a proxy server over the internet or use www.openvpn.com .

Now if the administrator is smart he would have nice programs running on the network to prevent you from using services like these to get to you tube or face-book.

Any case you might want just give up trying to unblock a blocked site. You could wind up into trouble.

Since you give zero details on what your trying to do i must leave it at that.

We are a Do it yourself repair site so if something is blocked you might not have permission to go there in the first place so this does touch a little on the lines of our Terms and Services.

How to unblock youtube from office internet security..
Used a free proxy site. go to this site http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html.
Once you found a good free proxy server open up yung internet explorer go to tools->internet options->connection->LAN settings>make a check mark on the proxy server tab and put in the proxy site that you want and port number.

Youtube will not work
Hello,
This problem would arise due to malware or virus in your browser or when you have large cookies.
Check you tube with other browsers. Run antivirus on the current browser or if you are using firefox go to TOOLS->OPTIONS->PRIVACY->COOKIES and clear youtube's cookie and try to use youtube. Similarly do it for other browsers.

My you tube dont work
Go to Start > Control Panel > Windows Firewall> Exceptions> Click on add port.
Call it port 80.
In port number type in 80.
Then click on OK.
Then close all the windows.

Basically on the computer that is running apache (Server), YouTube is unblocking the port called 80. On some systems mainly XP home we found that port 80 was always blocked. Even though localhost worked, computers connecting to it would get an connection error. Also, if you have a 3rd party firewall, you have to unblock YouTube.
