I got mine from a friend and i dont know what the charger looks like or what hole it plugs into?
The charger that comes with it is a mini usb, but most motorola chargers put out 5 volts at 500 mah this charger is 5 volts at 1000 mah. you must use a charger that puts out 1000 mah. I hope this helps.

Ok an AC adapter with a mini-usb...use a motorola phone charger...i will see if that works today because I had mine hooked up to my computer's USB port for 2 days and I get bupkis lol

I believe the whole series of cameras charge on the familiar mini-USB port on the rear of the camera. However, from what I can tell, it does not charge when connected to a computer or "regular size" USB port. It must charge with a AC adapter. I DO NOT HAVE THIS ADAPTER. But if someone out there does can you tell us the voltage of the adapter???? Then we should be able to get them charging again. And, correct me if I'm wrong here AC charger holders, when the camera is actually charging the RED light will blink or flash until fully charged then illuminating solid red light.

same problem here too. i chared it over night and the red light stopped blinking but when i unplugged it and tried to turn it on nothing happened. it works when it's on the charger but not when its unplugged and i'm sure thats not how itssupposed to be. if anyone figures it out please let me know.
I bought a Jazz 188 Elite HD camera and there was no AC adapter in the package. The instruction booklet says you must have one to charge the battery. So what do I do? I have looked and looked and cannot find an adapter to fit this camera. The camera worked real good until the battery went dead. Then I tried to charge it on the computer, but that definitely did not work. I am here with a camera I cannot use.

P.S. I went back to Walmart where I bought the camera, and they did not even find a phone number for the company who made the camera.
The camera was working great until, I charged it once and it charged. Now when charge it the red light stops blinking and it will not charge. It comes on sometimes when it is plugged up. I do not suggest anyone buy this camera. This is an ongoing problem with this camera and it needs to be fixed. We should all get our money refunded or get a new camera! Then when you click get expert assistance, it asks you to pay some money. I already waisted enough dam money!
can anyone tell where to buy a battery for jazz hdv188 here in the philippines?
