My printer is just spitting out blank sheets despite new cartridges. Do I need to reinstall? If so, how?

there are a couple of nasty little issues regarding printers all alike. usually when replacing ink cartrages there is a chance you upset the print heads when installing. there are 2 ways to try to solve the problem:

1 is usually on the printer theres a feature to print an alignment page or a button to align the print heads, both easy and hard to find depending on the printer, it can take several attempts to work. use it with one deep clean of the print heads for better results.

2 is to manually try to find printer services from the computer side. some printers have it some do not. i cannot guarentee there will be one. using windows 7 go to devices and printers and inside printer properties of your default printer you can find it there if it is there.

carriage-board have problem

This would be a issue with the print carriage, it may need to be serviced or replaced. Depending on the age now of the printer it might be better off with a new one. Some of these Mobile printers you can get for under the cost of replacing the carriage. But a little alchol on a tip to clean this will not hurt.

most like your nozzles are clogged up. you will need to take it into a service center.

Did you pull the tape on the toner cartridge?

if you have a new cartridge in it it has to be primed with a test page. If it still doesn't work then the cartridge may be a defect.go through the "clean heads" process and see if that makes a difference.

sounds to me like perhaps the printer drivers are really unhappy. you'll need new ones from www.kodak.com
