It jumps off of channel for satalite programing

When you say you have freeview channels, and then say you cannot get Sky channels this is not enough information that you have provided, but
I presuming in addition to freeview channels you also have a Sky Satalite receiver which is no longer connected to your Tv or your sons tv Either way Sky satalite have 2/4 lines which means you can have four viewings providing multi rooms is bought from sky, and additional boxes are fitted.
Or you can have 1 sky box main Tv and no the spare cable feed at the back of the sky box you can feed another cable to another tv from that same box but it will be same channels But you can now change channels using magic eye receivers etc, in any room.

But the question I believe is you had freeview but no long can receive sky channels the information is a little vague but hopefully I have helped a little

Hotel sets use a special remote with specific instructions--you need to get that remote and the instructions---hotel knows that..........

what is your model number?

U tries cable or satalite boxes unplug,replug it back like an hour later?Now,the satalite or cable boxes should resetting itself back to the factory setting and upgrading it softwwares.The tv should have a signal now.If not,it is the cable or satalite boxes fault.Call the cable or satalite companies,request for a new box.

This is not the tv problems.It the cables or satalites boxes problems or the movie channels package u order have problems.Call ur cable or satalite provider for help.

Unplug,replug the tv back about an hour later,u have a cable box,a satalite or a telicom compannies boxes.Do the same things.Let those boxes boot up and upgrades it softwares.Now u should able to go into the tv menu,go to PICTURE,go down to reset ur Tuner board back to factory setting.Still have the same problems after the tv and boxes reset,than ur tv the broscasting signal Tuner board is dead require replacing.

This is not an HD tv.Use the remote,came with the free rceiver converter box or pay tv tv box.

U have cable right? U don't need ur original remote,just use the cable,satalite or telicom provider
remote.If u use free air use a outdoor antena or Digital antena u will receive all the DTV channels free air.

Channel # 73 may have been deprogrammed from your TV's memory. Follow the instructions in your manual to add the channel back in.

1) Buy RCA remote part # 240895 original about $25.00
2) Enter channel 00 for video sometimes works
3) Channel down 4-3-2-Vid 1, Vid 2, etc. sometimes works
4) Try Auto-Program Channels selection ( can be accessed on
front of set buttons or remote
