Hi there, I replaced my old Panasonic KX-TG2313LAB with a brand new KX-TG6323PK, everything works properly, except for caller id, the handsets displays Incoming Call, not the Name and Number of the caller. Caller Id was working fine with the KG-TG2313LAB. Mine is a regular phone line, not DSL/ADSL, no other device is connected to the phone line. Thanks in advance. I am trying to solve this in Honduras.

Talking Caller ID is covered on page 14 of the manual. The following link is for a download of the manual in pdf format.
Hi, Try connecting your phone to some other phone lines in which the caller id is working properly and this way you can check if the problem is with your device or line.
For all the phones to display the caller information properly, CLID (caller line identification service) should be enabled for your landline connection. Please contact your phone line provider to enable this service and you should be able to see the caller id information in your panasonic device.
I hope this is helpful to you thanks Please rate the solution
Okay well i'll just give you the long and short. If your caller id was working and then it all of the sudden stopped working you need to call your phone service provider and notify them. If you just got these phones installed then you would need to get a caller id card and turn on the caller id prompt from your phone system.
I don't think the problem is the FSK vs. DTMF. The manual even states that the caller ID is generally received after the second ring. This is true in America. I lived in India for four months and I never ran into the problem there so... I just can't say how your provider sends the caller ID. It may be that the line is being interfered with. Do you have a DSL line attached to the same device. If so make sure that there is a filter between you phone and its connection.
I am assuming that you tested your line with the other equipment connected to the same location. You may want to reduce the problem to the simplest configuration by connecting directly to the line only no other equipment. If it works add the other equipment until the caller ID stops again. Then you know what is interfering. If you have a monitor set you could listen to the DTMF being sent make sure it is coming between the first and second ring. It is audible if it is there. If you are answering on the first ring you will not see caller ID you have to wait till after the second ring then you should see it, If BSNL is sending the same as American systems. Good luck Z
check page 18 from your user guide (or at "http://phone.manualsonline.com/mdownloads/2a9697eb-f1f9-a434-457a-98ab6de1d9cc.pdf" if you don't have the book), your security code may not be set. good luck!
This is a long shot but worht asking, have you ever defaulted the system? You should default the system before installation and programming to clear out any bad data. If the system is brand new and the memory battery never turned on previously this would not be an issue.
Don't mind. returned the product to the store. thanks.
same problem me to...
callers say that I sound very far away on my handset phone
