Just bought a used 37MM Cartier Pasha watch. Have no instructions on how to set time. When I unscrew the crown a little and try to pull the screw under-neath up it won't move. I'm afraid to tug too hard because I'm not sure this
is what I should be doing. Help!!!!

Do not be so afraid. Unscrew that big crown fully, pull off and then you will see the real setting crown(quite small one), called an underlayed crown.
That little chain is hard enough to withstand your pulls, unless you are drunk. :)))
When you get that small crown handy- you can set the time and all the features.
If the small crown is not moving, your watch is rusty and you will need a proper watchmakers help.

The crown holder of my Cartier Pasha C as detached from the steel case and the crown itself. Can this be repaired ( i guess need soldering)??
