I have an almost 3yr old Whirlpool Accubake Gold gas slide in range - as of late when I am baking or otherwise hit will all of a sudden spike to a very high temperature and burn everything in minutes - an code of
E2 - F3 - pops up, I turn off oven immediately and this will pop up again. It takes some time for oven to cool off and then won't do it for a few uses again and then all of a sudden again.
Why don't the manuals have any section to explain these codes and why does this happen?
Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. Error F3-E2 in your Whirlpool oven means oven too hot and to resolve
this issue you'll have to replace the oven temp. sensor (probe). Please
rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further
assistance.
Thanks
