Acer v223w on and off

it happened to me. I changed computers but that did not solve the problem so it's not the video card. what did help was I turned off the monitor to reboot it then, using a different computer I reset the resolution to the lowest possible setting. when the monitor adjusted to the new resolution it reset itself. I then set it back to the higher resolution and everything was centered again.

Yes, you can get a DVI or AVG connector and use those.

When you go to project just hit the windows key and the p key at the same time and it should instruct you from there.

It also doe the same if you use this monitor to your brother's PC? Just want to make sure since you will have to open up the monitor if the monitor is bad for sure.
It is more likely to have power supply problem due to unstable DC feeding the circuits because of bad DC filter caps as you can see to these ACER monitors here and also ALL other brands as well.

Change the resolution, if you dont know how, just google it

Possibly cold solder joint or a cable needs resitting will need to take to trained technician as covers will have to come off to reflow pcb boards

Check your power supply. IF it is through a UPS then try connecting directly to a main supply. If problem persists then look for a ACer service center immediately. There might be a problem with the panel.

Not a tube issue...........It is going into shutdown mode...

1) Pull chassis...solder any /all bad connects in horiz,vert,power
circuits....look for evidence of over-heating....

2)Check for weak electrolytic capacitor in horiz driver circuit..use ESR meter..................................................T.
