We are replacing an old Automag thermostat, which controls just gas hot water baseboard heat in an upstairs zone. There are 3 wires --Red (R), White (W), and Green (hooked up to B). The new thermostat has R,Y,W,G, and Rh. How do we connect our wires?

red goes to RC and RH, White goes to W, Green goes to G and Blue goes to Y. iam assuming on the old tstat that Red whent to R White went to W Green went to G and Blue went to Y

try holding the up and down arrow, down, at the same time, see if the time or temperature starts flashing. also the cover should lift up so you can change from heat to cool, there should be a program button or a set button to hold down. all you should have to do is adjust the time and temperature for the 4 settings during the week and the two on the weekend. should be really easy, let me know if you need some more help
SOURCE: need to hook up a honeywell rth2310b with only 2 wires!
In some situations the wall plate has no markings, there are just two terminals hooked up to the control wire for the heater. I just installed this thermostat on my gas fireplace. I connected the black wire to the Rc terminal and the white wire to the W terminal. With the thermostat set to heat it works perfectly. Thanks to johnptaylor for the help!
