Idj2 stutter start button

This idea may be worth a try. Look at the buttons on your remote. If you see a button that is marked "TV" give that button a push and then give the "Power" button a push. Wait for a while! sometimes this takes a while to turn the TV on or off. You may have to do this a couple of times depending if the power was off or on when you started doing this. If you started with the set off, sometimes it takes a while for the set to turn on.

use the lexar brand jump drive, they tend to work better the the dj station. i have a 64GB jump drive with 3,000 songs on it and it works great with no problems.

I spoke with Numark regarding intermittent cutting out of 750g Seagate hard drive. They claim the problem is with the size of hard drive and recommend using nothing larger than 500g. Bit of a shame really. Surprised no firmware upgrade to incorporate newer storage solutions.

Have you tried re-installing the firmware?

In the front of the IDJ2 system there should be a switch labeled "CF Slope." Switch it downward and you should be good.

My button to send songs to deck B won't work either. Anyone know how to remedy this? I upgraded to newest firmware, Im successfully running librarian and no other problems. That 2nd function button does not work, however. This is the button that sends tracks to deck B, it also is the pull deck B button, and the cancel button. So I am dead in the water without this button working. I just bought the unit from someone and it was only used once, still in the box,etc. HELP PLS!

The current firmware available is version v1.13 which is located at http://www.numark.com/idj2 . It also has Librarian v1.5 included with it.

Download the firmware to your PC and then unzip it to your desktop where you can retrieve it easily.

Transfer the firmware file to the handy little 128mb thumb drive that came with the idj2. (I moved all of the files from the thumb drive on to my PC so the firmware file was the only file on my thumb drive to avoid any computer related confusion)

Making sure your idj2 is powered "OFF" insert the thumb drive containing firmware v1.13 into one of the rear USB ports. Make sure this is the only thing plugged into the idj2 at this time(no keyboard, ect)

Turn on the idj2 on. You will see a message that says the machine is checking the firmware.(I don't have the system in front of me right now but that is roughly what it says) It will take a few minutes and the system will update to the new firmware.

instead of using your itouch in the ipod deck, plug it to the white cord used to transfer music to your pc, and plug it in the usb dock, it should work because i've tried it with the iphone 3g
