Heater/defrost/ac fan not coming on park avenue...can hear click
Fan/blower will not come on in 1989 Park Avenue. Can hear slight click when switch between say heater and a/c or to defrost, etc. But no go. Would it be the blower motor, or is it blower motor relay or resistor (difference between resistor and relay in park avenue???).

I bet you have a leaf or leaves inside the heater blower compartment. The blower motor fan is always turning slowly even though the AC or fan is turned off to provide for ventilation. See if the grinding noise changes when you turn the AC fan on or off.
check to see if there is a resistor on the blower motor. it should be located either beside or underneath the blower motor.. if that is bad it wont let you select different fan speed settings and if it goes completely out the blower will not work at all.
It sounds like the air distribution door motor is bad. If you turn the fan speed to low with the ignition on/engine off and try to change the mode to something other than defrost, you should faintly hear a motor running. If its making clicking noises, then it is most likely stripped. This is a fairly common problem with mode door motors. It will have one on each temp door for the dual climate control as well. Those ones usually last longer.
