Pray that set is still under warranty - one year. If you used a major credit card you get an extra year. Otherwise any repair will be at your expense.

Make note of the exact symptoms and check google for them - you will come across blogs telling you what boards may be responsible for the problem and that is what has to be replaced.

Often you can buy replacement boards on ebay for a good price.

The problem can be the inverter board is not getting the power from the power supply, or the inverter board is bad, those are the two things to look at first.

I am trying to locate a fuse for a Sanyo plasma model number dp50747 it is the fuse right next to the power suppl. it shows ft10ah250vp on the fuse

thats a 10 amp fast blow fuses rated for 250v

You can get them at any Radio SHack Store

50 inch Sanyo Vizon Plasma TV. Has sound but no picture for last few days. 2 years old

This set has LG insides, it will have failed on either the Y-Sustain PCB or the Z-Sustain PCB.

Quite common.

Repair estimates should be $250 - £350 depending on which has failed.

Stick it on eBay, it will fetch good money faulty.
