SOURCE: industrial sewing machine top thread breaking

The brother DB 2 series of machines do not use a needle with a flat side. the needle system is DBX1 and are available from size 10 to size 20.
Try using the right needle for the machine and the right size for the thread you are using. this should make it better

SOURCE: Thread Breaking On Brother Sewing Machine

if thread is good quality you may have a sharp groove in your needle plate hole from needle breakage. if so, polish with emery tape.

Probably just the needle. Try turning it 180 degrees

What size thread are you using? With thicker fabrics, you should be using at least a size 50. Even a 30 would be better.

Necci 752 manual is needed.problem with threading and stitching

Hm, I'm not able to locate a manual but may be able to offer some suggestions.

Remove the top thread from the machine.
AVOID OLD OR BARGAIN BIN THREAD!
Use the same thread in top and bobbin.
Be sure to use a brand new needle--needs to be compatible with the thread and fabric of the project..
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread from the beginning.
Set the top tension to the midway point.
Verify the bobbin is loaded and threaded correctly and it turns the correct direction.
Pull the bobbin thread up through the fabric before taking the first stitch. It also helps to hold both thread tails in your left hand when taking the first stitches.
Test your machine and tweak the top tension until the top and bobbin threads meet in the middle of the fabric. (Increased top tension will pull the bobbin thread up. Decreased top tension will allow the bobbin thread to pull the top thread down.)

?I HAVE A ZUKI TL-2010Q. IT WORKED UNTIL I HAD TO CHANGE THE BOBBIN.NOW THE TOP THREAD KEEPS BREAKING.I HAVE RETHREADED THE TOP THREAD SEVERAL TIMES,WITHOUT ANY CHANGE IN THE SEWING.

Remove both, the top thread and the bobbin from the machine.
Re-check your owner's manual then re- thread the bobbin and install it in the machine. (Make sure the bobbin is turning the correct direction.)
Re-check the instructions for threading the top thread.
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and re-thread the top thread following the thread path shown in the manual.
Start with the top tension set at the midway point between low and high number--then tweak it for your current project.

AVOID old or bargain bin thread!!!!

Sometimes, installing a brand new needle will help. A new needle should be installed every 8 hours of sewing time! A damaged needle will cause a great deal of sewing havoc but is really inexpensive when resolving sewing issues.

My sewing machine keep sewing a little bit but breaks the thread everytime the bottom thread is at 0 and 1 my top thread is at 2 or 3 and the top thread breaks please tell me what wrong I am new too.

possibly the top thread is being restricted in movement
check that the thread is between the tension plates and not behind it or knotted up in the way it is threaded
pull on the needle thread and it should move with a steady pull not very hard
if it is not moving fairly easily the check how you have the thread installed
also old thread will break easily as the bonding used to keep the strands together breaks down and is difficult for the thread to slide though the needle
another point is the needle to hook timing and the clearance there as well .
if there is a problem there , the hook will split the thread from the needle and break it
if you still have problems , take it to a sewing machine service center ( any one ) and they will advise of the problem and show you how to fix it

I would change the needle because sometimes there is a burr inside the eye of the needle. Now when you rethread, make sure that your presser foot is up, and then pull on the thread to make sure that the thread is seated in all of the guides.

New Home Type F threading bobbin take up

Perhaps one of these will help:

Thread Bobbin on Newhome Sewing Machine

HINT: install a brand new needle. Remove the top thread from the machine. ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and then rethread the top thread. The upper tension should start out set at the midway point. Use only fresh, good quality thread--AVOID old or bargain bin threads.

If the machine is threaded correctly top and bottom, but is still not catching the bobbin thread, then it's possible the machine is out of time. Search for sewing machine timing or take it for service.

Since it is an older mechanical machine, it is recommended to clean and oil the machine frequently. Oil Before using it if it has been in storage. If the machine is sticky, motor drags, etc., here's a good reference for getting it back in shape:

New home 535 machine. I've checked the threading, removed any lint or fluff, adjusted the tension and changed the needle. It makes holes but not stitches or gets knotted up and unthreads itself.

check to see if the thread has come off the thread take up lever

check in the needle plate to see if the feed dogs are up or down, if they are down then the knob or switch need to be changed to the up position
if the feed dogs are up then it's possible that they need to be checked
because the feed dogs are what moves the fabric against the presser foot as the machine sews

make sure to have 3 to 6 inch thread tail on top thread & bobbin & pull the thread behind the needle before starting to sew that way the needle does not become unthreaded

and make sure the presser foot in the up position when thread

if none of these suggesions help then it's possible that the machine could be out of time & would have to be serviced by a sewing machine repair tech that has the tools to check the machine
